This is a traffic light from around the great depression when traffic lights were a new technology. To save money, companies back then put in only one yellow bulb and only needed on yellow light relay. The traffic light would show yellow on all sides. 0:18 unintentional overlay. 0:22 unintentional blackout.

@CrazySirenBoy Nothing strange at all about the Sequence....it's a very old signal and lots of them had a tendency to overlap phases like this...quite common a long time ago

@KatsukiLennox, I'd always thought it was a result of the signals that used to be only red and green w/no yellow. When they added the yellow section that's how they did it. But you hear things all the time. One thing I can do is confirm what Kats said, it's not a malfunction.

Because you see it all the time its not strange, but to someone who doesnt see old center of the road street lights like that, it is very strange.

This traffic light is so cool, Ive never seen anything like it. Im making a book on Arkansas, of all the main streets and old downtowns throughout the entire state. This light is very unique and I hope the town preserves it.

Some traffic lights will show RED AND YELLOW before green, but this is probably a malfunction.

most traffic lights in the US don't do two colors at one time and I don't think any in the world intentionally have a time when there are no lights on at all. it just struck out as cool to me. I definitely should've recorded a better segment of it.
