jealous of your hair! wow! I'm currently transitioning to natural...however i will flat iron my hair every week...i hope my hair will be as long and healthy as yours!

FYI - You can damage the cord on your iron wrapping it around the iron. Instead I would recommend gathering the cord up around itself and either securing with one of those tie things or just putting it in box it came in.

CHI silk infusion is the BEST heat protector. it makes your hair really silky, and moist. very good.

@DPrincess28 What style do you air-dry your hair in? I couldn't tell from the video. I saw you take out a ponytail?

yet again, you are the bomb.com! Loved it!
what heat protectant do you use now that they don't sell one 'n only anymore?

@brainsnall14: I'm currently in experimentation phase, so I've been sampling a few different ones. However, my process is the same: I start by applying a moisturizing leave-in, then a creamy heat protectant (some are a little serumy, but I look for those with a similar consistency to the One 'n Only Ceramic Silk), and then I spray my hair with the Megasilk Olive Heat Protectant spray (which I'm sure you've seen me use in some of my vids). This "cocktail" seems to work great for my hair.

how do you maintain in the SUMMER? mine last 1 day :(

@dasinga20: I don't straighten my hair often because it is too hot and between the heat and my workouts, I can sweat it out quick. However, I still rock it straight for a week without reapplying any heat to it by simply doing pin curls and or bunouts on my flat ironed hair. The waves I get from bunouts helps it blend. If I sweat out the roots, I just get creative with my styles (ponytails, side upsweeps, etc.) so that the focus isn't on the roots, if that makes sense.

How long does that process normally take?

@anluck1: When flat ironing, I take my time, so it usually takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Because I don't like spending a lot of time on my hair, I break up the entire process so it's less overwhelming: I usually do my pre-poo treatment the night before I wash (I sleep with the oil in my hair, but if I do it on wash day, I'll heat up the oil), then I wash & deep condish the next day, apply my leave-ins/heat protectants & air dry, then flat iron the day after...whew, lol!
