The mystery of the grail (part 1)

The "Grail Quest" is a quest through the wasteland of life for the liberation of the eternal soul buried within men.

This quest is leads the seeker on a Gnostic path in which the old is renewed through mediation of the eternal love radiation of Christ. This is the content of the holy grail and the realization of the goal of the quest.

This presentation expresses the Gnostic view as held by the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, The International School of the Golden Rosycross.

I subscribe to the impression that the grail has an alchemical meaning, but what exactly gets worked with depends on different cannons of thought...

I think the most plausible is the mixing between opposite polarities, male and female.

To us the grail is an eternal and indestructible radiation in which the eternal soul (one we bare within us) is nourished so that it can grow. Only trough its mediating power we can come to total renewal of soul, spirit and body. This is the greatest mystery in the world and of life.

In the process of renewal all polar opposites within (and also partially around us) become united because "That what is keeping them apart" (any kind of self centered action) is dissolved.

Great i always believed the Grail to be a older tradition than Christianity a spiritual quest followed bt the iniates of the mystery schools going back to the dawn of humanity.

Indeed. At the dawn of the fall of man this Grail or Holy Crater of Eternal Light was sent down with them. In a way the Mysteryschools themselves have been the Grail in which its Supreme Light was kept. Like in the LR which is such a mysteryschool in our modern days.

This video tries to focus on what the Grail may be for us Now, instead of the myth.

The search after the HolyGrail is the search after an inner Truth that can't be denied. This Grail, or Truth, is the remnant within us of Divine origin.

Following it places us on a path towards itself. By it we stand in a process of learning by which we start to re-act more to its impulses and less to those of the Desiring I.

Grail-legends are about different aspects of this path.
