@DarkEmoE i meant so i could have my fans plugged into some sort of hub, and have a single 3pin connector at the end left over so i could pop that into my motherboard header, Thanks for replying though :)

@skateoria there are many molex to 3 pin adapters that also leave you the molex end again. so you could actually plug in several molex to 3 pin connectors in one molex outlet.

my motherboard has one fan connector, could i substitute the molex connector for a male 3 pin?
-
wow. you did an excellent soldering job. you should patent that design and sell it to a manufacturer. : )

@GodZylaTheMaking Thank you so much =) that helps heaps!

That's pretty cool. Just change the pin of the 4 pin molex to put it on 5V or 7V,

this is an excellent tutorial. Keep up the fantastic work.

That is a great idea. Very handy for cable managment.
This is EXACTLY what ive been looking for thanks!!
tho i have a question, how many fans can you safely run off of a single molex connection like that? you have 8 in this video, so i assume it would be safe to populate all 8 connectors with fans without any trouble?
thanks again!

@jamesnuutinen yes it is safe to run 8 fans that is rated at 0.23amp all 8, if you running higher as in 0.32amp then it will be 4.
hope this help
