  • NO NEED FOR SPANISH MUSIC !

  • i hope those highrises fall to the ground...bloomberg has succesfully overdeveloped another queens neighborhood and is slowly chasing the middle class out of these neighborhoods. LIC has been over run by yuppies and aspiring artists and w.e. else you want to call them

  • @LauraBeachnut what happened to you in Astoria? you need to really visit there. its not nice visually but it has a community

  • the condos near the water are a rip off dont go there

    2 blocks from queensbridge 'jects.

i used to live by there by tha citi bank building.

  • if you go near the water and by vernon blvd it s nicer. the condos are crazy expensive. but until they clean up the area noone is gonna want to hang there. they have nice places to eat but noone goes! Its the deadest town Ive ever been in. I went 15 yrs ago and all thats changed is a few resturants and alot of condos. seems scarey to walk around. like home from the train.. maybe the next 10 yrs they will clean it up and get rid of all the factories

  • I've never had someone backstab be from astoria, or be my friend only for my money, so idk what part of astoria you went to and had bad experiences with friends. I've never seen a rat or cockroach in my neighborhood unless it was by the N train, so maybe you went to some poor persons house

  • But here is the REAL quagmire, ASTORIA is nice (by new york city standards... if you can call them standards), However, the people in LIC are very kind, honest, friendly and classy people. They aren't two faced back stabbers that will be your friend only to get money from you kind of people like in Astoria. Granted, Some people like the industrial look. THe places in LIC are much cleaner inside and unlike Astoria, there are no cockroaches on the inside and rats on the outside.

  • okay they need to go to astoria or like the nice private houses in that area, they freken went into the ghetto/projects, oh well

  • most of it looks like that but the nice part ( VERNON BLVD by the 7 Train) does not look like that. I kind of like that run down old "streets of new york" look.

  • WTF that is not how LIC new york looks like!, idk but they musta went into the fucking ghetto or something, i live around there and theres nice places, stop making us look bad like we're some fucking rundown town!
