To settle this, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based from the killings of Ed Gein from Wisconsin, He cut bodies and used as lampshades and small wall paper, He usually covered his walls with newspaper articles of the missing people, The texas chainsaw massacre was just a story told to scare people

Texas Chainsaw Massacre did not really happen! The writer of the movie actualy got the idea from Ed Gein. A mentally ill psycho who lived in WISCONSON, NOT Texas! He never cut any one up with a chainsaw either. The two people he killed, he shot! Ed Gein was also the inspiration for Psycho, Silence of the Lamb and a few other movies. He did not even commit any crimes in the 70's, it was in the 40's. In the 70's, he was in a mental hospital. That might be real footage of a crime, but not of Gein.
