  • The whole idea of Warhol's studio was mass-production. The Foundation is treating the product as if Warhol sweated over each one, like Rembrandt. Also, thanks Foundation, for the Fragile Edie Sedgwick T shirts. Good taste, guys.

  • I think that all this commotion over authenticity is sort of funny, because I'm pretty sure that thats partly his point of creating art..What's original?

  • @Blavat666 I bet you find yourself very amusing.

  • @Blavat666 Talk about ignorance lol, stop talking about things you don't understand. And get a fucking life man, quit trolling on Andy Warhol videos if you don't like the man.

  • oh i hate those lads of the Authentication Board, they are like the mafia of art business

  • Every Warhol is a fake

  • @ccsitaround The board is nothing but individuals that are nothing but self appointed crack heads.

  • Warhol Authentication Board

There is really no way because too many people had their hands in Andy's Work.

This board is just a farce to even think that they could Authenticate anything Andy Did.

Who are these people anyway? NONSENCE!

  • thanks for this series--I bought a Warhol painting--male torso 3 by 4 feet (from the "factory", in the 60's) I've wondered what the value would be today, it was not stamped or signed--now it looks like it would not pass this board, anyway?

  • @ZenPapageno

Rembrandt ran a factory too! Most artists did...

  • silkscreening ink. With acrylic background base colors. He also used Casein, watercolor, and diamond dust-laced paint.
