What can be said about Steve that hasn't already been said? Marriott is the real deal and someone to admire for his HONESTY as a Musician.

I was a bit harsh on Jimmy, but he did say himself, that he just wasn't getting on well with the other fellows. I must admit, he's really good on 'Baby, Don't Do It'. If they could've worked together almost like the Beatles, there wouldn't have been that too great a pressure on Steve all of the time. Lane, Ian coudl've increased their writing.

@minutegongcoughs Billy Bragg was born in 1957. He would've been 10 years in 1967. He's saying that 'Lazy Sunday' is the only song that he connected with? How could he have any say about this?

@ 6:06, I know someone had posted the vid.

@mrmarriottsgirl I agree with Mr.Marriotsgirl and Minutegongcoughs.

Well, in Billy's defense, I don't think he'd ever dream of claiming he could claim like Steve. Or that he can sing at all for that matter. I think it's important that younger artists acknowledge the greats from the past. (and I believe he was referring to Steve's Humble Pie-ish "rock yodel" . I agree with him. I prefer cockney Steve.)
Good doc. Could do without Billy Bragg stealing the thunder. He was in diapers at the time? Tx for uploading the three parts.
