@ruldal My TDI 1.9 is burning up to 5l/100 km, I have 30km distance to workplace, smokes down around 2l per route. in normal speed. When i drive low-speed, 4th gear at 60km/h ~1700rpm, it burns a little bit more than a 1l, well maybe i just have something wrong in my car :/

I cant belive how retarded you guys are :) LOL Gasoline pollutes less than Diesel ?? LOL read up on your sience plz guys.. Yes diesel look dirty, and smell worse than gasoline but only pollutes about 1/3rd og gasoline, and a diesel can do around 30km pr liter, a good gasoline car can perhaps put up 18km pr liter... Oh wait maybe he is running on biodiesel ?? Look the same though but oh yeah it pollute alot more.. Jesus you americans are so incredible retarded :) ha ha ha

@aksgamewiz are you retarded? first off that's not soot it's excess fuel passing through the cylinder second any diesel puts out a hell of a lot more pollution than any gas engine of similar displacement. sure the fuel burns more completely and releases more energy but the exhaust generated isn't as "environmentally friendly" as gasoline. same reason we don't use strait alcohol or other types of fuel.
