  • Great quality recording. I'd love to have this on DVD. How do you get a copy??? Thanx 4 posting!

  • I got this from The Trader's Den (google it).

I would LOVE that The Dan publish this officialy. But I guess there are licensing problems or something.

So... enjoy it here at no cost.

  • I love the way Walter always bobbles around like a drunk while playing.

  • Taxi...taxiiiiiiiiiiiii..helllooooo

I'm the wrong person to ask about technical music info, but my best answer is " a cord with a intentional mistake or drop note. I believe its has to do with dropping one of the triads down 1/2 step to create a dissident sound. what sounds like a mistake but not. Very few musicians can use them properly. SD is certainly one of them. and this song a prime example.

  • @GaryLeventhal What's a 'dissident cord?' Is that anything like a discordant rope?.....or is it an unorthodox pile of wood that's been cut for burning?

  • @logansGT

I believe those are dissident cords ? Maybe I'm thinking of another. Ya Gold teeth 2

  • @theothertroll

I would agree with him dragging out the vocals a bit, But in the grand scheme, Its still a great song played very very well.

  • Sorry, but Fagan's dragging those vocal lines out WAY TOO FAR - sounds bad - only dodges being a travesty 'cause he CAN stay near in tune.

  • The dan tearing it ip as usual

  • While most of us seem to awe at the great guitarists whom come and go with the band I tend to forget how great Walter is and this one is a prime example.

Walter if your listing lets do lunch.

  • I know I know, this is heresy but.....I enjoy SD much more if I don't look at Fagen :o)
