    Being British and this being 1986-ish - we though we'd 'Monty Python' the whole '''Kurtis-Blow' American Rap Thing", which we thought was pretty tame - and actually realised was just a total rip-off by a bunch of Americans of Jamaican dance-hall culture, (which has a distinct British cultural resonance by the way) ...

    The German's missed the point completely ... but we were reasonably satisfied with the weirdness of it all ... which was the whole point for us really.
