As you know, the chiefs of staff like to keep their eyes and ears on our boys to see what they're up to.

For this reason the top brass devised a plan to send us generals into the combat zone undercover.

By undercover I mean disguised as cows.

I opposed the idea. What if the enemy or our boys got thirsty and decided to start milking one of the generals?

Most generals don't mind teats as long as they're someone else's and it's the generals doing the pulling.

But they didn't listen to me.

Even when I told them our trigger happy boys might use the cows for target practise they just sniffed and said they were developing bulletproof hides.

So, I had to shut up and take orders and put on my cow suit.

One psycho general liked the idea so much he wears his all the time. Even tried walking into the Pentagon wearing it. On two legs! Can you imagine it?

What's the Army coming to?

I suggested making us bulls instead of cows next time.

They agreed. (sigh)
