To show how easy it is to fit a Delta-Tek Freespool, we have fitted one at a muddy off-road site!

The Delta-Tek Freespool Drum fits any standard or modified (Twin motor for example) 8274 winch. It is available in both standard and wide drum versions.

The central core of the drum is smaller diameter than a standard drum, increasing the rope capacity as well as the pull available on the first few layers.

The Delta-Tek freespool drum also incorporates a cable loop - which makes it very easy to securely attach your rope (as shown in the video).

Unlike other drums on the market which require complex instructions, special tools and workshop facilities, the Delta-Tek drum can be fitted in less than 20 mins with only the most basic tools. That's really the point of this video - if you can fit one from scratch in a muddy car-park, you can fit one anywhere!

We are co confident in our design that we not only offer a 5 Year unconditional warranty but we also offer a 50% trade in against any other 8274 Freespool Drum whether it is broken, damaged, unreliable or even if it just didn't live up to your expectations! Trade up to a Delta-Tek - you won't be disappointed!

In a Winch Challenge, you can save up to 40 seconds per punch based on paying out the rope using the motor. Not only does this give you an extra half hour during the day, but it saves battery power meaning your winch will give peak performance when you start pulling.

The Delta-Tek freespool was developed and refined over two years in some of the UK's toughest competitions before being released into the wild. Unlike some products, this means you are not buying one to test somebodies prototype!
