Hawaiian Chieftan and Lady Washington-- two replicas of old sailing ships are visiting San Francisco Bay and taking passengers out on the bay while engaing in mock sea battles, firing canon blanks at each other. Great fun to watch!
I lived in SF when the Chieftain was based in Sausalito. Once when we were anchored out behind Angel Island, she sailed up and the captain asked permission to fire on us (for the tourists on board). It was SO cool! Thanks for uploading this.

They'll be back up to visit next month! I just took a "battle" sail like this when they were doing demos in Newport Beach -- much fun!
