Nelson Mandela portrait tattoo

Rob Turner, a tattoo artist from Cape Town in South Africa and his apprentice, Daryl Cheetham, created a totally unique and ground breaking tattoo art piece, a collection of realistic portraits of Nelson Mandela, FW De Klerk and Desmond Tutu. Later on, Rob will add Albert Luthuli to the list of portraits completing the art piece of the 4 South African Nobel Piece Prize winners.
Rob who is co-owner of Freestylers Tattoo Lounge and boasts a breathtaking view of Blouberg Beach, embarked on a mission the art world has not seen before. A peaceful liberation for tattoo artist all over the world to gain recognition for their work as art pieces.
Rob has plans to take this portrait piece to the world stage when he and Darryl Cheetam attend the biggest tattoo show on Earth in Las Vegas USA in September 2009.
