Today is a sad day..I regret to announce Tsvangirai's withdrawal from elections. This may have been the best choice for the livelihood of MDC supporters but I also believe that Mugabe will continue to punish the opposition despite the withdrawal. Sadly, this is why intervention is necessary; without weapons, a cause can only go so far against greedy and evil interests. While peace may be the ultimate goal that we all strive for, all seekers of freedom have had to pay with some sort of sacrifice.

very true wat u jst said , i jst came into ireland in 05 from living in zim all my life , the funny thing is that im not black ! im halfcast in zim we call it mukaradi ... they nevr hasstled me or askd me any stupid questions , i come from harare from a place called braiside ....and i love my country no matter wat and will always have a place for zim in my heart im 21 now and im a male .... thank u zimbabwe 4 u made me the person that iam today god bless

wow so powerful! i'm a canadian that went to zim for six weeks in june'07 and the clips brought back so many memories. zimbabweans were so optimistic and grateful for everything. people shuld learn from them. we have so much that we can give them. $1 goes a long ways there

Bobsbeentaken, it is very inaccurate to say that the whites in Zimbabwe suffer as much as the blacks. I don't think that the world knows what a white person looks like after they go skinny coz of no food. Whites in Zimbabwe are rich and still relatively managing (most are doing well actually). So it doesn't hit them as equal as it hits black people. I know it's bad to say black-white, but race is stratified exactly as wealth, economic opportunities and all that stuff. They have more money.

I am a white Zimbabwean girl who is SO proud to come from a country which just keep going despite what it is delt. The majority of people, both black and white, of Zimbabwe are full of love. I have been forced out of Zimbabwe, its been 7 years now, but still my heart aches for my homeland. Once Zimbabwe is sampled, you can never forget it. Please pray for Zimbabwe during these elections that there may be change.
