Agreed, perfect timing. Wasn't the prettiest swing around, but was machine-like in its precision. Hands, head, arms and body were in excellent position from start to finish. Wood's swing arc is longer and generates much greater power , but by no means is it as consistent as Hogan's swing.

@tomsta3 No offense, but nothing about "America sticking up for the old times" relates to europe doing well in the golf world. I think a lot of the reason europe has outstanding golfers is that there are more than twice as many people in europe. Hence, a much bigger pool to draw from. Personally, I love watching great golf (no matter where the person is from). Also, there is much to be gained from experience and the "old times". Only a fool ignores/throws out the past.
