  • Nice vid, I noticed you put all your drum samples on the rack. I seperate my drums into impulse for better eq and mastering, but is this really necessary?

  • @Discotreatz Drum Racks are actually far superior to Impulses. Impulse was designed as a very simple drum sampler before Drum Racks were invented. It's like the diff between Simpler and Sampler in Live. You get better EQing within Drum Racks because you can insert any EQ, an EQ8 or a third party EQ into the chain. You can also layer sounds into Multis and set up internal Return Tracks to bus to. Very powerful. Check them out!

  • Where can I get the vengeance samples? Thanks!

  • @Torehund95 Google!

  • Hi, Hope Vespers or someone can help, when I'm auditioning samples say a kick drum and find the one that sounds awesome, I drag it into the drum rack and then it sounds like half volume and not as awesome, I tried turning the volume up where it says -12db but when I set it to 0db it's louder but still sounds weak or different how can I get it so the sample is unchanged when I drag it into the drum rack, hope it's not just me, Oh I been using ableton for 3 weeks so sorry if it's a dumb question.

  • what piano are you using?! its beautiful!

  • how did you get drumrack to pickup velocity. whenever i have used drum rack in the past i've had to manually go into the sample/sampler and set the vel (next to spread) to 100%. i've been wondering this since the first day i used ableton. please help i want velocity without having to do this run around.
