I'm straight up bawling. That is exactly how I feel "down" days. Those days where nothing is really wrong, but you look in the mirror and think of beautiful girls like 2ne1 and hate what you see. But I'm willing to bet even the prettiest of girls look in the mirror sometimes and see themselves as ugly too. @jessrockstah 2ne1 sang this song, because the pressures they feel everyday for not fitting in. They don't have the typical Korean looks, they are like outsiders in a way, as they can't be cute and they sing songs that kick ass. I think this song is a way for them to channel the hurt they feel over criticism. Maybe they are trying to overcome societies stereotypes and say "hey, I may be ugly...but I can also be the Best" XD

I think people who write comments like "I wish I was this ugly" etc. don't really get the meaning of the song and the word UGLY in it. It's not just about not having a "pretty face" , it's about being ugly in all aspects, being outsider, not fit in society and in it's concepts.

Also so many people think that 2NE1 IS ugly and KARA or SNSD're pretty, 'cause they have very feminine and cute look. Do you really think that this kind of thoughts never crossed 2NE1's minds and didn't hurt them?
