I learned this from the tablature provided in the liner notes to the Hobart Smith CD "In Sacred Trust," from Smithsonian Folkways records. It doesn't have the same rhythmic flair as Mr. Smith's version, and I play it in ABAB form rather than AAB as on the recording. I'm mostly up-picking the notes, though I think there must be a couple of frailed notes in there, too.

  • Well done man. One of my favorites on that album. I don't remember their being tab in the liner notes. I'll have to dig out my hard copy and check them out.
