I have the full copy of this game, with comments from the commentators when ad breaks were on. Very interesting the things they said when not going to air.

the Death of the WAFL our state formed the Eagles but we got raped by the Vics we lost so many good young kids to Victoria and THE SANFL if only our list could of been the size that Collingwood had we could of had bewick bairstow and heaps more stay home

This is the last time a VFL side played a WAFL side before the West Coast Eagles were formed and the VFL becoming the AFL. I remember watching this match and was wondering which team would have to wear an alternate strip before the match started due to the 2 clubs having the same jersey. Hawthorn won this match by 2 points.

Historical match.Last game before West Coast joined the VFL in 1987.And the last time a competitive WAFL side played up to the same level as an VFL team.Hard to imagine Subiaco team taking on hawthorn now.

At least you appear to be a Hawthorn supporter. I have been inundated by Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon fans - the three teams I love to hate.
