Hello MMA fans this is Tony T here with a quick hitter preview from Affliction Mixed Martial Arts. On Saturday January 24th on Pay-Per-View a fight for the Wamma Heavyweight Title as champion Fedor The Last Emperor Emelianenko will face Andrei Alovski. Affliction Day of Reckoning will be staged at the Honda Center in Anaheim California.

Fedor Emelianenko has fought professionally for 8 years and has never lost a fight. 29 wins without a legitimate defeat in the business. He is regarded by many reputable MMA publications as the best heavyweight in the world. In his last fight at Affliction Banned Emelianenko earned a 36 second victory over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia by submission applying a rear naked choke. 6 of Fedors past wins have come by submission with 3 of those wins ending by his patented armbar.

Andrei Arlovski is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. He has 15 wins and 5 losses with 11 wins coming by knockout. At Affliction Banned the striker Arlovski earned a knockout victory over Top Ten Heavyweight Ben Rothwell. Arlovski has secured the services of boxing trainer Freddie Roach to train him on his boxing skills for this fight. A check of the betting odds shows the champion Fedor Emelianenko as the 400 favorite with Andrei Arlovski as the +300 underdog. Lets say the UFC HW Title is a real worlds title, all politics aside. The true UFC champ is Fedor because, Couture left the UFC in 97' without losing his HW title, then lost to Enson Inoue, who then lost to Mark Kerr, who in turn lost to Kazuyuki Fujita, who then lost to Mark Coleman, who then lost to Minotauro, whos next loss was against ... guess who ... Not all rules in MMA are the same, RINGS did not allow elbows so when kohsaka landed the elbow and cut fedor they needed someone to advance so TK won! Plus any fighter who wins or losses by a cut does not feel like they won! So fedor is undeafeted!!
