The innocence in this story is what makes it sad to me. He thought it was a balloon! He had no idea what condoms or any of that stuff was. Now he has to learn about herpes and how he can't kiss mom, dad, and his grandparents anymore. Adults make a choice to accept the gross shit people can transmit when they fuck, but this poor kid has to deal with something that he's too young to understand.
