This is the original version of the Vancouver punk anthem later re-recorded by the Subhumans (who featured ex-Stiffs Gerry Hannah and Mike Graham) and has been covered by DOA, Screeching Weasel, Overkill and many others
Recorded in May 1978 but was never released until 1991 when the song appeared on the double-CD compilation "Last Call: Vancouver Independent Music 1977-1988"

thanks for the comment! I guess technically it's not a cover because Gerry and Mike took this song with them when they formed the Subhumans and this was unreleased at the time

I always thought that Overkill made this song in 1988, but I found out this song was made long before that. It took some balls to put this song out on a record back in 1978.

DOA was which is what some of these guys would later form was big in the hardcore scene the ventured off into the cities it was big in LA,DC, the nyc but yea I know what you mean but also a lot of their punk is just stupid tho but than again america has a lot to so nevermind that comment lol
