@elchinonica feminists say they are for equal rights. You, obviously, believe it. I don't. I no more believe that feminists are for fairness between the sexes than if a Jamie Kelso tells me he is simply for equal rights between the races.

Phyllis Schlafly worked 48 hrs/wk during college, yet graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a master's from Harvard in under a year. Afterward, she worked for the American Enterprise Institute and for Claude Bakewell's political campaign. She did all this during the forties--long before feminism.
With hard work and a positive attitude, anyone can acheive anything. But if you walk around with a chip on your shoulder, you'll never reach your potential. Cheer up. We live in a great nation.

So a lot of sexism that tells women to stay at home issued from a conservative woman is horrific, but the same sexism, served up with style, from a good looking guy on tv is totally cool? Hmm...all I know is Schlafly at 39 wasn't sitting at home alone, still single, drunk talking to a machine. She had 3 degrees, was raising kids, attending to her husband while being active in politics.
