  • I didn't know it was a second take...notice Doug Cifford gets upset and does a drum roll and snare crash when John tells Dick that "the whole band" contributes to the writing of CCR tunes..

If you read Bad Moon Rising the author notes that John controls everything after group input during the Suzie-Q session drives him nuts... Thanks

  • show!! CREEDENCE EM TODAS AS PARADAS!!

  • when i watched that show on the A.B. marathon in 1997,looked like they had a good time doing it a second time, regardless of them lip-syncing.i bet not many performers these days want to do a retake of a show if it ever got misplaced.

  • @wfarrar69 considering they were just miming to a playback of the tape it would not have mattered much; perhaps they were more comfortable miming on the second take eh?

  • the swamp is inspiring ...ccr .... the best ....

  • on the A.B. marathon on vh1 in 1997,dick clark explained that he had a redo their show, because the original film got lost and was afraid they wouldn't do another take.but they say yes to it.and who knows, this take probaly better than the first.great one by c.c.r.

  • Brilliant! I remember it being number one in UK and dancing to it around about when about 9 years old!

  • so great....best song of a fine repetroire
