off brand subwoofers? good or bad

@asfullasempty the solo8 also cost about 5 times as much. regardless of magnet size, there is NO replacement for displacement. this video is merely a demonstration of budget woofers.

@dre83cpt yeah, that is the EV1500M should be sufficent for a SSL 15" u can always wire it down to 2ohm and get more power if u have a DVC 4ohm woofer. i run my 15's at 250rms each. i dont honeslty belive they can handle a full 900 rms. i have a compatition like-grade diamond audio 15" that can only take about 400rms, and it weights around 25lbs lol. alot of stuff is over rated but you should be just fine. if u post videos leme know ill check em out for sure

@dre83cpt yessir :D total of 6 15's all in my room, doing the best this time as my final system making a clean set amp rack for three crunch P1100.2's three 30Amp power supplys. running a total of 90Amps power and about 1650Watts RMS. im hoping the electrical can handle that kinda current draw,about 18Amps on 120volts,wich will be about the equavilent of two air conditioners and a hair dryer lol. thanks for subbing, will have updates within a month or two. take care

@dre83cpt thanks man! im going to be running 5 of these ssl 15's and a diamond audio 15 soon,i had this powered off a 100 watt pioneer reciever actually. ive had them on a rockford P300.2 and now i have them on a crunch P1100.2 amp. about 250rms to each SSL now. please feel free to chck out the newest videos where i demo them on the new amp,good luck and enjoy!

@demonsparkx hey you think that amp im getting will do well with that sub?i'll be running it @ 600w x1 @ 4 ohms. i think the rms on the sub is 900 watts. im really into mids and highs because i like to hear my music clearly , i just wanted to have a little low bass in the background without breaking the bank you know? my 6x9's and 6 1/2 are mb quart, thanks

Which amp are you using? I just ordered that same sub and a 1500 watt ssl mono amp. Hope mines bumps like yours lol.. Good shit..
