It is a real treat to be able to listen to this recording--thanks for posting. The guitar parts remind me a bit of Elizabeth Cotten's "Freight Train" --much, much later, of course.

53jbop - Black swan records was african-american owned too and was founded in 1921. of the above record there is only a single existant copy, found and still owned by Joe Bussard of Frederick Maryland.
