This is a nice camcorder, I had the M301 its the same thing but without internal memory. I ended up returning mine as the low light preformance was very poor. I got the M40 which has the HD CMOS Pro sensor and that has excellent low light and indoor preformance.

where did you get it from for that price ?

I see Canon redid the design and put the battery in the back. I have about a year old Vixia and the battery is internal and can't be expanded.
