Prélude - á mon ami Auguste Convers
"Moderato in C major and 4/4 time. A short of toccata, in which alternating, carillon-like staccato intervals distributed between the two hands (compare Marcel Dupré: Prélude et Fugue, Op. 7 No. 1) accompany the main theme, which appears initially in the pedal and is taken up later in the manual. After this the theme appears once more in the pedal, now, however, in inversion. The registration is usually modest for a piece of this type: foundation stops and Hautbois." (Ben van Oosten)
