contrivance-II

This animation is a simulation of what is seen when the contrivance (2.1) is operating - it was nearly impossible to videotape it in actuality due to jutter. Contrivance is a stroboscopic animation device measuring at five feet in diameter. It has taken on a variety of presentation formats and version 2 is mounted in cantilever fashion off of a wall (version 1 was free standing and was obscured by an attached with an aperture for which the animation was viewed).
