@Mark0wnsYou your point implies that academic achievement in specific areas defines intelligence, something which is debatable, I'm sure your friend is a very capable physicist but if he believes a 2000 year old book written by people with astronomically less knowledge of the universe than we have now is the word of god. then I do not believe he is an intelligent human being.
