1990 Camaro 4" single magnaflow exhaust with LS1

i got the new ls1 fired up today. nothing really special, just hawks/stainless works longtubes, 4" exhaust that i built with a magnaflow muffler in the rear. it's got stock 241 heads with a baby cam by comp. you can't even hear it lope. i think the rev sounds good though, nice and crisp. gotta a slew of wiring yet though.

was there a lot of work to fit an ls1 in that camaro.You know like headers,motor mount,power steering,etc...

it's alot of work if you have no money, and it's alot of money if you want no work. i chose the latter to make things go smoothly.

i am not running power steering on this car though, the car has a manual box in it.

@JacobR343 this video is a little old, the car now has a 6.0l in it and is fitted with PS and an IROC box...but i'm considering going to a manual rack cause it's a little touchy at 125mph through the traps.

I can tell that it's got a "mild" cam, as you said, but it does sound nice. Nice swap! If my T/A ever gets wrecked, I'll probably swap the LS1 into my 89 Camaro.
