  • Whatever happened to Tracy? Thanks for sharing her, she's been in my heart and head but it was so sweet to hear and share her voice!

  • @Lisascurves Tracy just released her 26th album - "Victim Of The Blues". Highly recommended! You can purchase it directly at her site.

  • Mind Blowing!!!! 1st time I heard this was in one of the SOA shows. Totally awesome. Thanks for posting.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting. I first saw Tracy in '68 or '69 at my college. As an added treat, Boz Scaggs had split from his band and was hanging with Mother Earth. They played for 3-1/2 hours. Saw Tracy live maybe a dozen times over the next 25 years. Haven't seen her lately, but she never fails to put a chill down my back and tears of joy in my eye. Got to hang with her and the band between shows at a sparsely attended concert in Buffalo in '72. No other voice better, ever. Period.

  • Tracy & Diane Davidson did some really great duets and would cut heads with each other...at the Exit Inn, Mississippi Whiskers...west end, the rock block...the soda shop....man the memories...

  • I was hangin' at the Gold Rush after I came back to NashVegas Christmas Eve '69,,, I fell in love with Tracy when she was playin' with Mother Earth out in San Francisco... One of the guys I hung with was Steve Young...who also really dug Tracy...I asked her to marry me one night when we were all "tuned" and she just laughed and said, "don't want to marry me" I'm a real bitch" her x Travis Rivers was there & said "She's tellin' the truth man"...I said, I don't care as long as I can here you sing.

  • Wow too many friends form wayyyy back in the day in Nashville

  • The album this track is from is "Bring Me Home"

It is still my favorite Tracy Nelson l.p. & is out on c.d. at long last a couple of years back.

    "I'll Be Long Gone"

    "Soul Of Sadness"

    "Seven Bridges Road"

    "Bring Me Home"

Not a dud track on the entire record.

They literally don't make music like this anymore.

  • Dianne Davidson had a great album on Janus in the 70's titled "BABY".

A couple of superb gospel/rock/country tracks.

Another lady I find it impossible to get info on is DIANE KOLBY a Texan of the same period with the one l.p. on Columbia & a #1 single in Australia "Holy Man"
