Here is a few days of my food log this week. Remember that I am trying to pair a carb and protein at each meal/snack. I'm eating lean meats, lots of fruits and veggies, and watching my sugar intake. I'm also trying to eat every 3-4 hours. I feel like I did pretty good. Hope this can give you ideas :) Everything I have logged this week has been home made.... no eating out this week!!! :)

8/24/10
5:30am- 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 1/2 slice cheese and 1 hard boiled egg. 8oz milk. Coffee w/ little sugar and milk
10:00am- 1 apple & 2tbsp Jiff Natural P-nut butter
2:30pm- 1 can tuna w/ 1tbsp mayo (with olive oil), 1 WASA cracker & 4 cubes cheese
4:30pm- 3 cubes cheese
7:45pm- 4 baked chicken strips with light amount of BBQ sauce, sauteed veggies, & purple hull peas

8/25/10
5:30am- Greek Yogurt w/ 1 tbsp p-nut butter, Coffee w/ little sugar & milk
8:30am- 1/4 cup oats & honey granola cereal
10:00am- 3 slice deli ham, with few small cubes cheese & spinach leaves, rolled up
1:30pm- 1 can tuna w/ 1tbsp mayo (olive oil). Brown rice & fresh broccoli
4:30pm- protein bar
6:45pm- handful mini pickles
8:30pm- mixed greens salad (iceburg, red leaf lettuce, spinach) w/ 1 ground beef patty chopped, pinch of shredded cheese & 2 tbsp thousand island dressing..... OMG- TASTED LIKE McDONALD'S BIG MAC SNACK WRAP

8/26/10

7:45am- few bites of banana
10:00am- 1 apple, 3 slice deli ham, 2 cheese cubes
11:00am- 1/2 banana
12:30pm- same salad from dinner last night
3:15pm- 1 wasa cracker, 2 slices deli ham, 2 cubes cheese
6:45pm- 4 baked chicken strips, 1/2 cup mash potatoes, & fresh green beans

  • You're doing great! I love that you're sharing what you're eating. Pairing carb with protein is FANTASTIC, also adding some fat, which is what you're doing (from the looks of it) which is awesome! I wish you the best this week xoxo You look so slim:) You're doing so good!

  • I am so happy you are understanding a food plan, once you understand what sugars can do to you, you will understand that counting calories will be not as important as balance meals. I am glad you wrote down your foods. I will tell you, I have tons of personal videos on sugar and how it effect me. Eat the good fats. I support you 100%. I know you are going to see a big difference in energy too.

  • I love this! I can't wait to see how well your body responds to clean eating. I love that idea that if we eat clean in small mini meals you automaticly cut down on calories.

  • awesooome! btw those gloves you use to workout make you look like a total hoss! and you're eating is like insanely healthy, i should try some of this... i'm thinkin about layin of carbs a bit...
