Wolfen has got to be one of the most underated, misunderstood and neglected films in the history of cinema. It's a beautifuly shot, directed and above all atmospheric movie that has a very special place in my life. It brings back a lot of good eighties memories.

I remember this movie! Why? Because, it's one of the most disappointing horror films I've ever seen. I still today find myself irritatted at how corny & unscary this film was!

Growing up in Brooklyn, I had areas of my neighborhood that looked like this. We always played in those abandoned buildings without fear. Bums and derelicts were everywhere but they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. But after this movie came out, we stayed away from those places. Just like people stayed away from the beach after Jaws came out. The idea of entering a building where something could drag you into the basement and NO ONE would know didn't occur to us before!

@trence5 I beleive Horner has his own signature in music notes that you will pick out in some movies. Like his personal key melody or something.

@chadergeist some of the parts of the soundtrack actually sound like a few sections from ALIENS particular towards the when the wolfen show up
