  • ive heard that vasolene works for oiling your rubix cube also

  • It's not supposed to be a good idea, since vaseline is petroleum-based and the cube is plastic.

  • unless you need to grease or lube your rubik's cube, dont even bother trying to disassemble it. And even if you need to lube it, you can spray MS 40 into the cube without taking it apart. That simple.

  • What's MS 40? Hadn't heard of that.

  • i heard that WD-40 also works

  • In general lubricating plastic with oil is not a good idea. Google WD-40 cube and you will see many warnings against trying this. Silicone-based lubricants are best for cubing.
