  • @JAZZSTARish Thanks for being interested. You can go to my channel I have some videos uploaded.

And sure we can stay in contact!! :)

  • @flowersarealive I agree. It sounds like you have the drive. I am a musician myself and started in my 20's learning the piano by ear. Music is a passion it reflects my mood. You keep at it..learn as much as you can here and there. Do you have any of your music somewhere? I am interested. I hope we can stay in contact.

  • I am honored to be taught by this man and be a member of the All-State band that he is the clinician for.

  • I completely agree! As an amateur musician living in New York I admire the efforts of the young people here. Have you heard of Evan Shinners? He is a Bach pianist who went to Juilliard to study classical piano who now promotes Bach at his live shows at Rock and Roll clubs in Manhattan. Talk about Versatility! He was at MoMA last month playing Beethoven and how he plays Rock and Bach this month to show the universality. I think that is where most classical music should go.

  • It doesn't matter how much you learn. It's about connecting to your inner source. That's what makes your music interesting, that it's brimming with your individuality.

  • He is so inspiring. I might've pushed a little harder and completed my degree in music education had I heard him speak back then. It makes me ache--just like he said.

  • thanks! im like 14 and i know theory of music and i know the piano and the guitar and i sing and oh my god i've written A LOT of songs...and music is like the most amazing thing in my life...can't live without it not now not in a hundred years...i wanna be a musician for the rest of my life..and there are a lot of morons on youtube who leave bad comments on me..but you kind of gave me hope that maybe im good enough.

    thanks! seriously!

    cheers**

  • Well done!
