  • I just picked up the BG-E2 for my 50d and i noticed that if i use one full charge battery with the grip, the camera shows "nearly empty batt", is this the case with using only one batt? second battery is on order.

  • Regrettably, I need to inform you of something... There is actually an active service order on the BG E2 grip for ALL canon DSLR cameras after the release of the EOS 20D. You are supposed to use the Canon BG E2N grip with the 30D, 40D, and 50D camera bodies. The BG e@ grip is designed to work only with the 20D to 100% of factory requirements.

I highly recommend that you sell that BG E2 and put your money towards a Canon, authentic, BG E2N grip.

    Thanks,

  • is the warranty card for Germany to?

  • Is this a review?

  • Hey man are you from Texas? Its sounds like that?

    Nice review though!

  • Serious man....

you are too rough with your gear!

That you can buy all of that doesnt mean that you have to replace it every year!

  • can you take a picture of your 30d with battery grip, flash, and 28-135mm lens Im gonna buy that whole setup

  • make a review on the canon eos rebel k2

    if you can

  • GLXLR I took a tad over 1500 photos at a military wedding last Saturday. I own a grip for my 50D and it's Awesome. I plan to get a full frame 5Dmkll for my next camera. GO CANON

  • The comment that the Canon grip is a rip-off is unfair! I have been using one of the cheap (£35) grips from eBay for about two years now and it's excellent, It is a LOT cheaper than the Canon item and looks totally identical. You do however get what you pay for, if you mount the camera on a tripod there is some flex in the grip... not so on the Canon item which has a much tougher construction (probably magnesium alloy like the cameras).

  • So whenever you press down the shutter button does it autofocus? and does the shutter work just as good as the one on the camera?
