@RC62 I love the DN-01 it's funky and yes it's nice to have something different and I totally agree with you, if your happy with what you ride you can get on with enjoying the motorcycling. My only problem is lack of funds and lack of space because I love so many different bikes, I would like two for every mood and a few more for nostalgia :0)

I ride a sort of weird bike (Honda DN-01) but I'm a bit weird myself so it suits me well. I don't really care if others like or hate my motorcycle. I got what I wanted and I'm the one that rides it and makes the payments. When other bikers take a second to really look at my bike they realize it's something different and they get curious. :D
nice rant...

@RedanWhiteRebel It's funny you say that, I find Ireland one of the most friendly places to ride ( My Mum was from New Ross). The attitudes between bikers and towards bikers is extremely positive over there. When my friend slid off his GSXR near Loughrea, a young family took us in and fed us whilst the husband drove to a shop in Galway to get a replacement clutch lever and even after much persuasion would not take money for fuel!
nice chat that.. i agree. love the fast yokes but cant bend that far over anymore without falling over :) :) i have a busa which i love but its too focused now for most things. am looking at buying a tripple either daytona or sprint.early twin spot one any advice??? also there is nice strawberries down new ross way.Regards from Eire.

@MrBeboopman Never had a Busa but owned blades ect but if I am being honest I enjoy this more find it more comfortable and more usable on the road, Daytona and Sprint are virtually the same bike but the riding position is less extreme on the Sprint, it's been a great bike and I love riding it and having always owned the lovely smooth fours but I like the character of the triple. New Ross you say, I spent a lot of time there as a child "St Annes cottage" where my mums from :)

A lot of bikers now are just fashion accessory people. The funnyist meeting i had was with a guy in california.I'd borrowed my mates mint Suzuki GS850 and a guy in all the Harley gear was looking at it.He told me he had one and it was his best bike ever, but he had to sell it because his "friends" wouldn't ride with him unless he bought a Harley, which he said was one on his worse bikes he was almost in tears. I just advised him to get some new friends and buy what he wanted.

@TheBusterRides thats terrible and not what biking is about, having to sell a bike due to peer pressure, you are right he needed new friends!
