This is a beautiful scherzo, with a calmer temperament, where Chopin left his improvisation flow spontaneously and happy. Appears to be mentally away from the problems and deadly disease that threatens him.
Rafal Blechacz is extremely careful with your speed, forte, pianissimo, silences, phrasing and fingering ... all precisely integrated.
Brilliant interpretation of this masterpiece, worthy of a great pianist ...!

  • Thanks a million for uploading this divine performance!

Rafal’s interpretation is heavenly and my heart keeps pounding faster each time I listen to this clip. He has not only superb techniques but also special ability to show sparkling metaphysical essence in the piece, which I assume the composer must have put in the composition. Wonderful to be alive to witness these kind of performances!

  • @RUP446 I'm glad you liked it ... I recommend that you also appreciate the other videos of Blechacz I had the opportunity to upload. Possibly soon I'll upload more videos of this great pianist ... Greetings from Santiago, Chile.

  • この人ほど一つ一つの音をハッキリさせて弾ける人いないんじゃないかな・・・?

    指運半端ないです!

  • Owwww Thank you very much, This is what I have been waiting for. Superb interpretation here plus the freshness of teenager (although he was a bit older than teenager).

  • 쩐다...

  • Wow, how should I say? I feel like I was struck by lightning by his playing. Simply marvelous!!!

Can't get enough of him. I can listen to it forever... Truly beautiful.

  • ...Blechacz resolutely insists on making this sound like a superficial-frivolous piece. Was Chopin really that frivolous-minded in this case?. Compare this to what somebody like Richter does with it.

  • Justin Bieber disliked this video, apparently

  • He definitely deserves to win all the five prizes of Chopin Competition.

  • @gcaee

    He's more gifted.

  • He is much better than Yulianna Avdeeva though it is just my taste.(so don't blame me please~~~) I like the way he plays, so clear and intact on every note.

  • 7:08 - 7:16 is absolutely amazing.....

  • @PianoMagno People who anonymously vote thumbs down have an agenda - either they love THEIR pianist, who is an object of desire for them, or they are mentally ill, or they are plain mean. You have to ignore those dislikes. This pianist is briliant! Never heard of him before.
