Racism, homophobia, and now sizeism? From race to sexuality, discrimination is unfortunately prevalent in society. Times might be a-changing, and with change comes progress, but with every two steps forward, it can be sometimes be one step back. Weight bias seems to be the last accepted form of discrimination -- and these guests are sharing their very real opinions of people... all based on size. You tell us: Does a person's size matter?

  • Old cliche - it's not always WHAT you say but HOW you say it....yes, there is an obesity epidemic and people need to be more conscious about their health (not just how you look - obesity, no matter how you look or what you feel, is NOT HEALTHY) but there is NO reason to belittle someone because they are struggling with their weight. All of us struggle with something; just because an obese person has to carry their struggle on the outside doesn't mean that they need to be criticized.

  • I love this strawman argument that people who make fun of others are "insecure". Some people do it just for the hell of it. As the Batman once said, "Some men just want to watch the world burn."

  • I would sit next to Jolie on a train airplane or bus even if she's 400 lbs. Who wouldn't want to do that

  • @Lemileant

Batman quotes are always a fucking win :D

    And it's so true! :D

  • @CanWeChange0610 The country with the most overweight people is Greece. They are on a kind of a fail road at the moment... US is 2nd. The britons and Germans are pretty big too. And south Africa has a lot of overweight people.

  • "Saying the truth always is not good." This is cultural double think. I understand that it may not be nice, or tactful to always tell the truth EVERY MINUTE of the day, but the truth deserves to be said eventually. Saving people's feelings in the short term causes people to suffer more in the long run. Words are power, and power must be learned to be used wisely, or we will always have to resign ourselves to innocence through ignorance. And I would much rather be a truthful sinner.

  • @80Cetbal08 Plenty of fat people in Europe. In fact, the fattest country in the world is a European country.

  • I hate that this show is so biased

  • @brittanyverjes1 Huh, cos I never heard anyone say that... don't let it color your thoughts against people heavier than you all too much, cos I don't. I just don't see that attitude around *me*, maybe that's it, but still,

    <3.

  • Weird, the lady ranting about fat people's kinda fat, by many people's standards (not mine, but since she's sayin'...),

    <3.

  • @Lemileant alfred said that

  • Even the fat haters are... FUCKING FAT!

Come to Europe, my dears, and see what not being fat really looks like.
