these drones suck they got this techonolgy from the pakistanis who are always selling military products even if that means selling nuclear weapons to rogue agents and groups.

lol , of course they can monitor it. That's literally the exact point of a drone. It's a plane that is flown remotely (no pilot on board) with cameras that send a live feed to a receiving station. If they couldn't monitor the signal it would just be a toy.
And a pretty overpriced one at that.

yea, but spying on them is so fucking lame with the Carrier being unable to spot the Drone.
It is indeed a total failure by the US.

It is very likely that the carrier was monitoring the video signal that the UAV was broadcasting back. There were probably guys in a control room on the carrier watching it and laughing. And I would not be surprised if someone went out on deck and looked up to see if they could spot it.
Being able to see a Nimitz class nuclear aircraft carrier like the Reagan means nothing. We don't try to hide them. You can see them for miles, they are like giant floating skyscrapers.
