Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli - Minor Swing

Stephane Grappelli is still emulated by up and coming jazz violinsts, as is Django Reinhardt by the growing field of jazz manouche guitarists. Stephane and Django are perhaps best known for the amazing body of work they created together within the gypsy jazz genre. Even though they were opposites in many respects, their long association resulted in some fascinating music! Manouche is typically played with lead and rythm guitars and upright bass, and may include violin, accordion and clarinet.

I think that should be the other way around. 'King of the Swingers' is great! Specially when Tommy Burton did it. Have a search for it. It's on the tube. Good film that was. Good music too. ...
