I kinda get Eckhart Tolle's meaning about the words and the pointers. That "I" has to follow "I". The mental Image, feeling, sound created by "I". That whatever is percieving this has to follow it.

thundergirl. Perhaps try mindfullness meditation, zen or buddhist also. Negative emotions are very powerful and can feel extremely overwhelming. It's not at all easy access peace when we feel so emotional. Meditation classes can be a great support to learn new tools to understand how we can tame some of this out of control feeling.A good buddhist book that a friend of mine found helpful {I haven't read it yet. Is "start where you are" by Pema Chodran. It's put in simple easy to understand terms.

she is invoking a feeling through thoughts and imagery. if you surrender, it can give you a feeling of a peaceful vibration. We are but atoms vibrating, every thought has a vibration. We can choose to focus on light and healing..this is what she is on about. Also she is talking of the ego, that can represent your conditioning our automatic reactions,by acknowledging and understanding the power our ego can have over us we can possibly release some of it's hold on us to experience things afresh.:)

I feel this, i feel that... who´s this "i" that is feeling something? And is this "i" the feeling, or is it something perceiving this feeling?

@kramnodd9 personally i hate the term "new age"... to me we are finding out old true selves... and finding out lot of old ways are better than the new. almost everything old is wiser and more profound. hardly anything worth while is "new". except for advances in technology.
