Another new addition to the fleet of aircraft at Sevier County Choppers. This is one of our newly overhauled Robinson R22 helicopters that we have installed a lighted advertising sign.

It's actually really enjoyable to fly. Providing a lot of stability like a person on a tight rope with a bar. You can't go fast. Anything above 50kts feels like you are trying to pull a parachute.

Flying about 700 AGL down the strip of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it is pretty fun to see people stop what they are doing and look up and stare as I fly over at 20kts.

Good times, especially for building my night hours.

  • is this legal? how can i get one? this is really coool

  • that looks like fun to fly

  • how does this advertising sign work? With lots of LEDs, doesn't it? And I'd like to see it at daylight, because in the air it looks HUGE,, especially compared to the two Nav-Lights... and in the video you can't see it really, except this one scene on ground, but all i see are flashing lights everywhere^^

  • wow thats sweet
