I'm from Barbados, Jackie's country of origin. He is a National icon to us. He was an awesome performer on stage and he popularized a genre of music indigenous to Barbados called Spouge. When our DJ play Jackie songs, they mainly play his ever-popular spouge songs, so we don't get to hear all of these wonderful songs he recorded in Jamaica. Thank you so much for posting these.
