I always get a lulz when Vince and the announce crew woudl make shootish comments back in the 80s. I guess VKM wasn't in charge of hiring the job crews at these tapings.

Man, Vince just verbally tore that jobber apart! I guess this was a small preview of his later Mr.McMahon character.
Vince was always a stickler for his guy to have good bodies.

And in those later matches Finnegan wore a shirt over his mega-bloated upper body. The guy actually moves pretty quick for having so much body fat.
As for this match, with all this noone seems to care that Hart, Valentine & Beefcake were around ringside. When Hart is heard "Is this the best you got Fat Boy" he's yelling at Albano, not the Glad Bag Man (great title)!
This match was on the same Sat. morning I first saw the Midnight Express in their debut NWA squash--anybody got that match?

I had this on tape for a while too, back in my redneck days when I taped wrestling. At the time it was a shock to hear McMahon trash a jobber so bad!
BTW, the guy's name was Larry Finnegan and was billed at 355lbs from Norwalk, CT. He actually appeared later in a few other heel-jobber squash matches, though McMahon wasn't doing the commentary.
It's like they had the lighting down more than usual to hide the jobber's bad build. And when he tagged in... "You gotta be kidding me!". Classic!

Yeah, I bet Vinny Mac went straight backstage & jabbed a Needle right in that Jobbers arm, & told him, this is what you need to be doing, if you wanna ever work for the World Wrestling Federation again, just ask Hulk, & Muraco. LOL

Actually Randy praises Barry O's abilities in the Famous Wrestling Families DVD, that was put out by WWE, a while back. So they don't phase him totally out of the picture, just sort of, LOL, Barry O., LOL
