The Beatles - Lucy In The Sky With Diamons
Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she´s gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore
Waiting to take you away
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds
And you´re gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Picture yourself on a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Lucy in the sky with diamonds...
No it's definitely not. its a painting his son did in preschool. A painting of his best friend named lucy. And the other "trippy" parts of this song are visions and descriptions from the book through the looking glass by lewis carrol

Quit trrying to make up excuses, that's what this song is about and that's that. there are other songs they did that actually were about drugs, why don't you go to those videos and rant about LSD there where there is a song that is actually truly about LSD. People just believe this song is about LSD because that's what someone tells them they heard from someone else. There is no true fact, and you can't prove to me this song isabout LSD

There is no certain date, it could have been drawn after the song.

how could it be a cover story when the painting has been published and placed in a museum. you can look that up anywhere its straight fact

Yeah, yeah. Belive cover stories if you want, I can't be bothered with you. I don't care how big a Beatles fan you are, that is nothing to do with what I said, in the first place.

when did I ever say drugs were bad? Most are yes. And I never said they couldn't possibly sing about drugs. What about She Said She Said, Within Without You, I am The Walrus, Tomorrow Never Knows...I think I've made my point there. I have seen this video a million times, I own the movie, of course I heard this song I have the album. And actually I have done acid. So why don't you thin before you talk and make yourself look dumb. This song is about a painting by Julian.
