I love going to New Orleans and hearing the street musicians, most are better than any that you'd pay big money for tickets to go see. Best thing to do (and all tourists need to remember this) try to have at least about $20 in ones on you so you can tip them. It's rude to stand there and enjoy the music without paying because without tips they can't survive. Same goes for the statue people, tip them if you pose with them for pictures. love the scat bands here. and not all of them but you can definately tell whose a tourists when they ignore the scat bands like theyre beggers haha i just which they could stop and enjoy them for a second
